澳洲黃金海岸防沙堤遭沖毀　18泳客被捲下海

澳洲黃金海岸當地時間周日(1日)，一處沙灘發生意外，距離岸邊約40公尺的一座防沙堤突然被海浪沖毀，現場18名泳客被捲入海中，經過附近5名救生人員搶救後，順利將18人都帶回岸上，無人傷亡。

救生員領隊表示，這是當地今年來最大的一起救援行動。但現場被救起的部分泳客，稍後竟又下水，又有4人被捲入海流中，救生員只得再度搭救。（於慶中／綜合外電報導）

澳洲昆士蘭州遭到近120年來最大一場洪水影響，首府「布里斯班」市就有兩萬間房屋被洪水圍困，目前已知有25人死亡，90人失蹤，傷亡人數可能還會增加；昆士蘭州州長表示，這場洪水令許多昆士蘭家庭心碎。 綜合外電報導，「布里斯班」有數以千計的民眾，都到親友家中避難，市中心猶如死城，這場洪水是澳洲東北部自1893年以來，最嚴重的一次水災。 澳洲總理「吉拉德」表示，這次洪水對昆士蘭州的損害，「令人難以置信」，她呼籲布里斯班市的居民，要守望相助，一起因應這次重大災害。
